Bio

The band from Salento, in the region of Puglia, Southern Itay, was born in 1996 and soon states a name for itself among the clubs in Puglia.
In 2002 “APRÈS LA CLASSE” debut their firs album with the music label “Edel”, and from here they start to play live concerts all over Italy. After a long and energetic tour the band becomes successful in no time among the Itaian public.
In 2004 their second album, “UN NUMERO” is out. This mark the band’s new direction towards musical worlds that drift away from the conventional Italian music scene. The stage becomes the real “home” for the band from Salento, and their tours become more and more crowded and followed. In 2005 they are recognized as the new breakthrough band by the association “SUPER CLUB LIVE”.
In 2006 LUNA PARK, their third studio album, comes out. The same year the band celebrates their 10th anniversary in the music scene with Sud Sound System, Caparezza and Negramaro in an unforgettable concert in Sternatìa, Lecce. After that they start another tour that will last for 2 years and tape the most important concerts. These tapings will be published in the Luna Park Live CD, a special collection dedicated to all their fans. The tour ends in February of the following year.
In April 2010 they debut their new album ”MAMMALITALIANI” for “SUNNYCOLA the label of CAPAREZZA, who has been a very good friend of the band for years, so much that he joined forces with them on the track of their first album “Lu Sule Lu Mare Lu Jentu” distributed by “Universal Music Italia”.
The band decides to concentrate mainly on the audio quality and so come up with a rare album where new ideas and new types of sounds mix up with the live experience, several electronic sounds and original songwriting.
“Mamma l’italiani” is definitively the 2010's summer anthem. See them live in Los Angeles on oct. 16th at El Rey Theatre with Roy Paci & Aretuska and Negrita.
