With Musical roots steeped in classic rock staples, Wyoming native, April June Bretzman, brings a vocal dynamic evoking the golden era of rock, R&B, and jazz. This most recent offering from Bretzman features all - original singing and songwriting presented as the April June Trio. Her guitar and Vocal talents are complimented by Josh Lavigne on bass and Kevin Coleman on drums. Story, Wyoming nestled at the foot of the majestic Big Horn Mountains, is Bretzman's home base when not on the road. There, the seemingly endless prairie meets nearly insurmountable rock and water. Her lyrics and arrangements mirror the surrounding landscape by combining the highs and lows of life's experiences and finding some peace somewhere in between, revealed in a sound that is difficult to put in a box.
