The 2011 eWorld Music Awards event is the 3rd annual event staged by eWorld, a technology and entertainment company and will be held at SIR Studios 6465 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA, 90028. Judges for the independent music awards show include Billboard Award winning producer Drew Lane, Fames Games co-creator and music producer Paul Sedkowski, and Emmy and Ace Music Award winner Chris Donovan. The show will be directed by Grammy-winning director Tom Trbovich ("We Are the World"); Executive Consultants are Emmy and Ace Award Winner Chris Donovan and TV legend and Emmy winning producer John Hamilton. Momentum Entertainment is also an executive producer.
The eWorld Music Awards recognizes artists who can compete in either the Live categories (best band, best female artist and best male artist) or Online categories (which cover a broader range of music genres). - EWorld Music Awards

April Henry, with a big voice, big heart, and definitely big hair, comes from a family of artists and entertainers. She began singing and entertaining from the ripe ole age of two and remembers watching her parents, both Country singer-songwriters, from the wings of the Grand Ole Opry. She was hooked ever since.
Most recently, April has placed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) Unsigned Only competition 2012 for her song Dangerous, as well as a Vocal Performance semi-finalist placement for April Henry and the Habit's performance of 'If You Go Away.' Also, donned the 2nd place ISC Award for her song "Dangerous,” (recognized by the ISC panel of judges of industry icons and professionals like Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits, Adele, Robert Smith, and Amanda Ghost — president of Epic
Records). April received the eWorld Music Award for her song "New Day" (whose panel and producers includes Emmy Award winning John Hamilton and Emmy Award Winning Director of the Golden Globes / Independent Spirit Awards Chris Donovan). In addition, she was given a Collective Works Award from “Song of the Year” which recognizes exceptional songwriting skills across various works. 'New Day' is in the Top 10 Best International Category - Australian Songwriter's Association.
April is a South Florida native and graduate of New World School of the Arts Conservatory, where she honed her talents and passion for stage performance. As an actress, she has performd all over South Florida and Off Broadway in NYC, as well as in TV, Commercials and Film.

April has performed to sold out houses all over the world from venues like the Bitter End, Feinsteins at the Loews Regency, the Metropolitan Room, Sunfest (opening for Michelle Branch and Gavin DeGraw) to as far as Bar Queen in Japan.
