A’priori are fresh new talent from Blackpool, a 5 piece progressive hard rock band here to infect your airwaves with juicy rocking goodness!.
These guys have come down to play and show their support to the Lost Souls Biker Group who organized the event in aid of Brian House Childrens Hospice
These young hair metal students kick it off on stage with the suspenseful, synth-lead, The Storm and already people are quickly looking up from their pint glasses, and then commanding further attention with the call to arms no nonsense hard rock of Iron Fist and the twin guitar assault of Shooting Stars
Conner shows breathtaking guitar skills as he shows off his blistering neo classical runs that would give Yngwie Malmsteem a run for his money, and adding sweep picking, and finger tapping to his arsenal of tricks.
Drummer Les Harrison thunders on through the catchy Lady Killer and Judgement Day. Despite their ages ranging between 17 -20, they all show musicianship and talent that exceeds that of bands twice their age, worthy contenders for future rock heavywieghts. Frontman Niall Langfield continues to prick the crowds ears with his powerful vocals comparable to Sebastian Bach, and Mark Stuarts keyboards add variety to each song.
Things slow down a bit with the sing-along chorus of Poison Kiss, and the keyboard lead ballad Lead Rain, before calling it a day with Arab Man. This is Connors turn to shine as he finger taps to his hearts content.
Anyone who hadn’t seen A’priori until now is a newly converted fan, and will sure be demanding these guys back at the Royal Oak soon.
