The State Theater is a nostalgic landmark for Modesto. So to walk in and see a concert is simply amazing in itself, but that is only the beginning. We had never seen the band Aquanett before. Our friend had tix n VIP passes to the after show and video shoot, so we were very excited. We sat down and the lights dimmed and all of a sudden we were in 1982. The amount of energy this band possesses is unbelievable. We did not sit down until intermission. Eddie (aka Sikki) the lead vocalist has a uncanny ability to mock the singers we grew up loving. They perform nonstop action as well, as in full hair and '80s rock attire. We were amazed by the guitarist D.C LaVille and bassist Lester Presto. Moe Love rocked the house on the drums. They even have the distinct movements of certain rockers from the past down as they rock out to classic hits. They left us so addicted and wanting more that we now follow these guys anywhere we can to see them. We have gotten to know them as individuals as well and each one is very unique and truly beautiful inside. They take pride in themselves and what they offer as a band, and as Plastics as well as fans, we can tell you they have what it takes to go all the way. - Modesto View

Unreleased original songs were written, recorded, and performed in a commercial for Hungry Man Dinners commercial to be deployed on the internet - YouTube, etc. The songs that once got airplay were back in the '80s when some members of the band were an actual hair metal band.

The '80s "Hair Metal" tribute band Aquanett has performed at a variety of venues and events including clubs, festivals, casinos, fundraisers, and other venues since forming in 2006.
Fans repeatedly tell us that they get off on seeing the band have as much fun on stage as they do in the audience.
Hired by San Francisco advertising agency Publicis & Hal Riney, the band wrote, recorded, and performed two original songs for a Hungry Man Dinners internet commercial for their client Pinnacle Foods, which was taped in February 2008.
