"Aram Danesh & The Super Human Crew :: Fade to Black"

Aram Danesh & The Super Human Crew :: Fade to Black
37-year-old real estate executive always took that old saying "don't quit your day-job" to heart. Jamming since he was nine, Danesh has assembled a crew that seeks to be an updated version of Sly and The Family Stone. The San Francisco hip-hop/jam band is pumping out jams that'll get the serotonin flowing like niagra falls. His songs have a heart pounding mixture of rock and hip-hop. The Iranian Born guitarist states that his influence for the Super Human Crew range from Elvis to Classical to Michael Franti. The ultra-upbeat tunes from The Super Human Crew's second effort The Grind drop this summer so take your shoes off and let the love flow. }

"Aram Danesh and The Super Human Crew - The Grind"

Babe: Highly musical and groove-oriented hip hop. If you need urban stuff, dig this. Tight.....

Wade: Inventive arrangements. Lots of soul - Hybrid

"Aram Danesh and The Super Human Crew - The Grind"

There’s a lot to be said for artists that can convey big points with minimal effort. Aram Danesh and the Super Human Crew are clearly masters of the art. Their very straight-forward second release, The Grind, touches on everything from healthcare to the mental state of urban America without sounding overbearing. Over rock and hip-hop-infused production, the band manages to keep the attention of listeners throughout the 10-track release. A proper follow up to their debut, The Grind is easy listening with a socially conscious edge. –jacinta howard - Rolling Out

Bio

We are a live hip hop band with MCs who sing, rap and beatbox supported by a slamin' rhythm section. Our first album “The Spot” got very good reviews nationally and our second album “The Grind” is getting consistently good airplay. Our influences range from hip hop bands like The Roots to Talib Kweli to jazz to hard rock icons like Led Zeppelin.

"The Grind" also features collaborations with Gift of Gab of Blackalicious and Destani Wolf.

What sets us apart from other hip hop bands is that our songs are composed pieces played by live musicians. We work hard and our music reflects that. Our songs have an intelligent message but we don't beat you over the head with it.

Everybody in the band has played with national and internationally touring acts. If you want to know more about us, check out www.aramdanesh.com.
