Bio

On January 1st 2009, the new year began its promises to bury other years before it. The Obama Administration would enter office, Transformers 2 and Harry Potter were teasing comic/movie fans, and Brad Brunazzi [18](formerly of locals bands Eternity Lost and Neutralize) and Connor Minjock [17] would finally have their first encounter. It was love in the first notes as Brad began to share the wealth of music he had been sitting on. Connor soon learned rhythm sections to play along with and the little zygote version of Arcane Haven was united.

Over the next few next few months Brad and Connor embarked on a search for a singer to share vocals with Brad, a bassist, and a drummer. Through Brad's large network of musical friends, they began playing with the Greer brothers. Mark Greer was a beyond average 18-year-old guy with the perfect vocal chords; Mike was a 21-year-old bassist with nearly five hundred shows under his belt, including a tour with The Breathing Process (Ferret Records). The four men made a connection like chemistry - only a whole lot more funny.
Finding the appropriate drummer took a bit of a longer search. After various tryouts, the band found Arnold Hullenbaugh [21], or as friends and band members call him: Ahhhnold. Thus the Arcane lineup was finally complete.

Over the next couple of months, the band began completing their songs. In late February, the band saw their first ray of light into playing shows. Signing with Pink Telephone, a local band endorser, Arcane Haven got their first opportunity for playing live music. The first show was scheduled for Sunday, May 17th. Playing to a crowd of roughly fifty virgins of their music, Arcane Haven performed energetically through a five song set. Their powerful breakdowns, impressive solos, and carrying melodies attracted the crowd with enthusiasm.

Arcane Haven plans on a summer of exciting and important shows. They'll be sharing the stage with not only some local names like Maesion and Remember Thy Name, but also nationally known bands such as Gwen Stacy, Arsonists Get All The Girls, and Evergreen Terrace. Their personal attachment to fans is reason enough to go to one of their shows. Their stage presence and performance create a show that is a shame to miss. Excited and ready to take their music to the next level, Arcane Haven could very likely be the next great band out of this area.
