"Archie Eversole - Oh No"

Though he only recently emerged from a six-year hiatus following his ‘02 debut album, Ride Wit Me: Dirty South Style, Archie Eversole is Back Like I Never Left.

His last two mixtape singles, What Money Sounds Like and How You Like Me Now received, respectively, mixed reviews and overwhelmingly positive ones, and he hopes to garner more of the latter with his latest release.

On Oh No, Eversole delves deeply into his Slummed Out past. Over Dry Rain head honcho Needlz’ beat (which samples Tina Turner’s You Can’t Stop Me Loving You), the Atlanta native tells how he rose from his hood beginnings to become a rap high-roller.

Once the DJ Scream-hosted Mr. Evasocold: Back Like I Never Left mixtape has dropped, Eversole will shift his focus to the release of his yet-untitled sophomore album. - www.djbooth.net

Bio

Born on a military base in Germany on July 26, 1984 Archie Eversole aka Mr. Evasocold ended up being raised in the College Park section of Atlanta. A product of rap's Dirty South, Atlanta, GA, resident Archie Eversole is a hardcore rapper who thrives on street imagery and specializes in lyrics that are descriptive of his impoverished and sometimes violent environment as a youth.

Following his incarceration of eight months on a charge of simple assault, Archie who was 17 at the time started recording his first album Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style, in the early May 2002 under the now defunct MCA Records. That album produced what is now a Billboard charting Dirty South classic entitled "We Ready" featuring Bubba Sparks. A song that has continually garnered respect from the street, while finding its way into multiple campaigns for the National Basketball Association and National Football League.

After a brief hiatus from the music industry, Archie has set his sights on once again becoming the topic of discussion when it comes to southern artist dominating the music charts. The official street single that will take Archie's new movement with Slummed Out/Zingari Entertainment to the next level is entitled "What Money Sounds Like" produced by Needlz for Dry Rain Entertainment (50 Cent, Game, Ludacris, Trina, Fabolous)... take a listen and look out for the follow up "How U Like Me Now"!
