Bio
Ari Tahan is an up and coming artist from Guildford, Surrey. Her music gives an enchanting pop sound, using powerful lyrics and melodies which serve as both passionate and emotional. There holds a continuous connection of soulfully raw expression in each one of her songs to move just about anybody - creating a captivating, endearing performance.
From the age of 8-16 she attended the Italia Conti Arts Centre in Guildford. As Ari got older, she started focusing more on contemporary music and moved onto the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where she ended up spending 3 years gaining a diploma and a degree.
When she was 17 she met Judie Tzuke, a credible singer-songwriter in the industry who co-wrote her first 4 singles with her (Out of Time, Idiot, Underwater, Who will you be).
Some of Ari’s musical highlights include performing at BBC Introducing Live at Tobacco Docks. She was chosen to be 'feature artist' of the week on BBC Introducing Radio, and had each of her released singles chosen as ‘track of the week’. This year she had her first BBC Live Lounge performance on air with Melita Dennet.
