Arianne Whyte

Arianne Shanel Lauris Whyte, born on the island of Antigua, was a special child born with phenomenal genes that fostered a truly distinct and tasteful voice.

Arianne grew up in a small village in the countryside called Potters where she always received constant family support and motivation. She was the eldest of two sisters in her extended family and constantly sought advice from her grandmother, now deceased.
Musically, she began at the age of four with the Glory Alley Choir founded and directed by her mother and grandmother. And she hasn’t stopped since!

Arianne appreciates the dexterity of genres such as spiritual, classical, musical theatre, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, pop, reggae and soca.

Arianne Whyte is undoubtedly an exceptional singer/vocalist, songwriter, aspiring actress and model who has graced many a stage in pursuit of her goals. She has defied the odds and always managed to emerge on top. In 2005 while performing with the Triple Feature Band at the Curtain Bluff Hotel in Antigua, she was discovered by Anna Strasberg and Victoria Krane, Owner and President of The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. They were very impressed with her performance and how she handled the audience on that new Year’s Eve, and so awarded her the Lucille Lortel Scholarship to the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. While there, she worked vigorously to strengthen her vocal techniques and also developed her secret passion for Acting. As she approached the end of her studies at the institute, she met Mr. Michael Carvin. Mr. Carvin was very impressed with this young lady who not only was talented but possessed a raw hunger for success. Thus, he told her he wanted to work with her. Thus, “The Music In Me” was born. This album would be her entrance into the world of pop and mainstream music.
