Bio

Somewhere lost between old Heart and Nickelback, Ariel’s Worm is forging ahead with a style and sound built on catchy vocal melodies and a powerful backdrop of hard rock. Beginning as a brother and sister duo, songwriter Mike Strype and vocalist Jennifer Strype found success early on with their demo ‘Beginner’s Luck’. The band line up, rounded out by Michael Braun on drums and Peter Fera on bass, drive the band to new heights of rhythmic power. With subject matter that goes far beyond what we currently hear on the radio, the idea of masking darker themes with catchy, sing-able melodies has always been an Ariel’s Worm highlight. Having spent much of the last 2 years in the studio working on their new masterpiece FIREGIRL, the band is anxious to get back out where they feel most at home, on the road. Ariel’s Worm has a distinct sound and recognizable image easily separating them from the current trend of ‘jeans and tee’ bands. The success of their previous albums has destined Ariel’s Worm to make a big splash and they are looking forward to all 2006 has to offer.
