"Billboard Magazine"

"...steeped in sticky pop melodies, sing-along hooks, and butt-shakin' funk rhythms...solid radio-ready material. Gold is about to hit pay dirt!"

-- Larry Flick,
Billboard
- Billboard Magazine

"People Magazine"

"With his R&B-favored pop, this New York scenester occasionally evokes another openly gay artist: George Michael. Matter of factly acknowledging his sexuality in his lyrics, Gold takes the listener to fresh places."

- Chuck Arnold

"Clive Davis"

“Ari wrote a very personal album and the lyrics attest to the battles that he’s been through...he writes from the heart.” - Clive Davis

"All Music Guide"

“Ari Gold stands out from the pack…specializing in R&B electro dance sounds that are a pleasant surprise...Gold certainly deserves credit for tackling lyrics not usually linked with dance-pop which he boldy does.” - All Music Guide

"The Advocate"

“Gold shines on his sassy and slick new CD...[he] performs with equal parts of sly, finger-snappin’ sass and earthy R&B finesse...the crisp yet fleshy sound of a platinum-selling recording..”--The Advocate - Planet Out, INC

"NEXT Magazine"

“A pioneer…unflinching…unapologetic.”—Next Magazine" - NEXT

"HITS Daily Double"

"In a society where it’s hard enough just to be gay, Ari Gold is not only gay but is...a pop star at the same time. The catch with Ari, though, is he is upfront with the fact that he’s gay, which is rare these days. This has caused him to be turned down by many major labels, big producers and executives because they didn’t want him to be out. Ari just returned from being on tour in Europe, and he will be playing May 7 at The Steinhardt Jewish Heritage Festival, which takes place at the Brooklyn Academy. Ari has also been working with Sirius Satellite Radio on his upcoming live album and is in the process of working on a documentary, which has the working title The Making of a Gay Pop Star. Ari is proud of being gay and has been promoting his music through the gay market and gay press, along with iTunes and Amazon. He’ll also be releasing the single “Love Will Take Over,” along with a bunch of remixes and possibly a video. Ari will play PRIDE festivals across the country to help promote his music. Check out www.arigold.com for more info on this amazing artist." - Je-Ce's Music To Look Out For

"The Village Voice"

"New York's R&B Studmuffin!" - The Village Voice

"AXM- Boy George"

"Everyone knows about Ari on the New York club scene-primarily because he has made sure they do - with good reason. The openly gay soul singer (he writes about being gay too) is a one-man force when it comes to self-promotion and running his career. Ari is quite clearly a star waiting to burst." - Boy George

"Time Out NY"

"A smash success...wowing the local music scene."
- Time Out NY
