A native of Wash. DC, Arika (sounds like Erika), is now known as Arikaluv aka "DaBarroness".
As a teen, Arikaluv traveled internationally as a member of the MMS concert choir. Forming a passion for all genres of music her own ardor lay with some of her favorites like Donny Hathaway, Bob Marley, Chaka Kahn, Stevie Wonder and India Arie.
Music has been apart of her heart and life always. While overcoming the obstacles of the obvious “to be a star” stereotypes.
