Prepare yourself for something new. There is no rock band quite like Arimathea. From the drums of hard hitting Ohio native Brian Christensen and the teeth rattling bass lines of Joshua Loya, to the expert skilled guitars of Jason Skiles and the jaw-dropping vocals of Jordan Lee Gandara, Arimathea brings a sound that will make you move while providing peace in the midst of chaos.
Arimathea’s members have been playing music together since 2006, constantly pushing each other to improve, both musically and in life. These guys are not just band-mates, they’re family. Each of them recognizes that life isn’t always easy, and sometimes you need some support from a friend. “Whether life is really good, or you’re in a pretty dark place, we hope our music can offer a bit more of what you need,” says Joshua, the band’s bassist, who continues to persevere, despite being completely blind since 1996.
Arimathea has recently completed their debut EP, entitled Tried By Fire, which is now available for purchase. The band is also hard at work on some surprises planned for release later this year.
