Ark The God Given MC

Many aspire to obtain the title of the best female/male rapper or emcee of all time in the music industry. This gender biased illusion does not hold constraints against an artist that confidently claims to be not a king or a queen but a thing on the throne. Ark, the self proclaimed God Given Emcees, main desire is to conquer music in a Sistine chapel perspective; in its final end, developing a massive art of detail and emotion by capturing every bit of musics creative compilation through a pen and a pad paralleled at that time with a man, a brush, ink and a vision.

Growing up as a military kid, Ark was not a stranger to travel. Her constant travelling influenced her vast eclectic style ranging lyrically from fast to slow rhyme schemes that annihilate any production from any genre. From California, to Italy, to Houston, she has blessed stages with her high octane performances and lyrical abilities that cease to leave any crowd begging for more. She has mastered the art of engaging her audience by having them perplexed by her individualism, diversity, and ability to entertain a crowd. Her electric energy and rock like persona is a force to be reckoned with. She has mastered a flow in which is unfamiliar for a female emcee and also rhymes that surpass even the most talented male counterparts. She attributes this realness and edge to her Grandmother which she claims to be the leading force to where her music derives its powerful sound and rawness. Growing up, her grandmother had a wide collection of music that Ark would sneak and play which proves to be an influence of why her music stretches far beyond her years. When she approached the rap game it was feelings from artist such as Anita Baker, Maze, Earth Wind and Fire and The Score, infused with her surroundings that created a sound that spilled forth messages of inspiration, motivation, determination and positivity.

On the path of her artistic journey, while recording for the first time at a studio in Sicily at the age of 17, she began to realize that she had an affect on music just as much as it was having an affect on her. Independently pushing her music to all who would listen, she began to build an audience that later lead to her being affiliated with a group named GED formed by Tyga of Young Money. This relationship allowed Ark to travel from city to city gracing tracks with some of the industries most talented artist. While she humbly enjoyed the ride, she decided to create and install her own beginnings.

To whom much is given, much is required. Ark acknowledges all opportunities and experiences in her life and because of this, she has been recognized as one of the most talented artist in her generation and she is only beginning her journey. She hopes to become a voice for those who may not have the ability to deliver their cry. Her goal is to have her music become a catalyst in creating a greater good for all mankind. With the catalog of music she possesses, she is well on her way.

She will always, creatively display how versatile and lyrical her delivery can be because she aspires nothing more than to be chosen for her ability to emcee with the best of the best.
