Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Growing up in Malaysia, I was surrounded by a mixture of Eastern and Western musical influences. Along with the privilege of being actively involved in church music, these influences have given me the gift of understanding that there is no box in which to put music. Traveling and living in different parts of the world since leaving home at sixteen, I enjoy working with young people and helping them discover the joy of music. Right now, I am in the choral conducting graduate program at Illinois State University, studying under the direction of Dr. Karyl Carlson. I am also in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Encore, led by Lauren Saegar.
