Armistice

A new arrival to the New England music scene, Armistice, a pop/punk band out of Portland, Maine, stands as one of the fastest growing bands in their area.
Already having produced a two song winter sampler CD, the band, comprised of members Andrew Soucy [guitar/vocals], Allison Orr [bass/vocals], and Nate Berry [drums], has begun playing shows with acts like Sparks the Rescue, Too Late the Hero, The All Ways, The Sophomore Beat, and Stop is the New Go. Their fast-paced, energetic songs, have begun to draw and move fans of all different ages and genres. They have also been featured on various news sources as community activists, playing at a candlelight vigil in response to a local hate crime.
After no more than four months together, they have progressed far enough to decide to begin work on their debut EP, which will be released independently in late spring of 2011.
