Bio
Born from an acoustic open mic night in New Brunswick, NJ, Armitus has evolved into a 5 member hard rock band. They draw from a variety of musical influences including GNR, Ozzy, NIN, Radiohead, and the classics.
DC, on lead vocal and lead guitar, hails from Jersey. Originally classically trained on the guitar, DC quickly shunned the constrictions of his teacher and branched out to more experimental and limitless musical boundaries. What was born from this offshoot is now the core of Armitus.
Chris, on rhythm guitar, is the other half of the original founding members of Armitus. A quiet piece of the puzzle whose loose nature help create the signature unique rhythm riffs and help balance the new sound of the band.
Only recently has Armitus found the missing pieces of the band.
There is Mike, on drums. A seasoned kit master whose influences in the classics like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest keep the band true to its roots.
Kobi, on guitar, backing vocals, synth and production and newest member Curtis, bringing in a solid bass.
The former Armitus, well known in the New Brunswick area also felt at home playing the Birch Hill Night Club. What's past is past, the reincarnation of Armitus is ready once again.
The combination of the five create a sonic maelstrom that burrows in your head.
