Arrie

Ashley Marie, who performs by her stage name 'Arrie' is an American Singer/Songwriter. She was born in 1985 in Toms River, NJ and raised in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. At an early age she was influenced profoundly by music. Arrie was born into a musical family. She would accompany her mother to some shows and rehearsals as her mother was also a vocalist. She sang lead vocals in a 7-piece band performing and recording covers and original pieces. Her grandmother sang Opera, and her Uncle is a vocalist, producer, guitarist, and songwriter.

Growing up, Arrie participated in chorus, drama class, voice courses, violin lessons, musical productions at school, and spent hours on end in her room singing and dancing to her favorite musicians.

Arrie's artistic approach, to say the least, has always been straight-forward and direct. Her more personal lyrics are always honest, detailed and precise. She takes great pride and has much confidence in her songwriting ability.

In 2005, Arrie began to see what it was like being in a studio environment. She was asked to sing hooks for other local artists and co-write songs for others. Currently, Arrie is back in the studio recording her demo with the talented engineer, producer and artist Drea Young.
