ARRA and Ronnie Platt have come together again to form a new a project/partnership and they call it...ARRIVAL!!

For the past 2 decades, Arra has been one of the biggest drawing cover bands in Chicagoland. When Arra started, initially what made them popular was that a large portion of their set list was the music of Journey and what made that possible was the amazing lead vocal ability of their original lead singer Ronnie Platt to emulate Steve Perry and his on stage persona. The backing vocals and the band also put the full court press on the Journey sound and as the years went on the band moved to doing a more balanced variety of the big classic rock bands from the same era including Journey.

Ronnie Platt left the band in 2002 and went on to become the lead singer for the national touring band Shooting Star (Hang On For Your Life, Breakout) who will be inducted to the Kansas City Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the spring of 2010 and was all over the radio (and still is on satellite and the Loop) in the 80s. Ronnie performed at a few shows with Arra toward the end of 2008 and at a special private event in early 2009 that they focused on a large block of Journey music as requested by the host of that event. The Journey set went so well that the group (Arra with original lead singer Ron Platt) decided to start an all Journey format and re-name this project as a separate entity from Arra called ARRIVAL.

ARRIVAL also has incorporated state of the art light and production to enhance their amazing vocal harmonies, so if you are a fan of Journey, you HAVE to catch a show...and if your not a fan, you will be after you see them!!
