Arthur and Jorge are two mature, but young men who know what they want and reflect their desires through their music. These HOT Cuban-American, Miami-born natives are bilingual and together have blended their talents to form the group, MADDOX. The boys are singers, songwriters, and dancers who enjoy every part of music making and are filled with energy and the explosive passion to express their talents to a larger audience.
MaDDoX's influences come from all sources, from Michael Jackson to John Mayer to 311 to Luis Miguel. They believe music is the universal language of the world and one of the defining components to the all of man-kind.
The two young men were brought together by the love and desire to make music. Once the boys met, they immediately spoke for hours about their dreams for music making. They both lived their life dreaming of making music, but their families’ opinions on the world of entertainment detoured Arthur’s and Jorge’s action of ever getting anything started. When the two men met, they decided to do what they dreamed of and developed their action plan to achieving their dream come true. They worked long hours to raise funds on their own and sought an independent producer and recorded a demo consisting of four fantastic songs. The boys’ families were the traditional Latin family types that never believed music and entertainment was a form of success or life-long achievement, but the moment their families heard their demo, each member was overwhelmed and taken back by the boys’ talents and urged them to pursue their dreams. Their talents have leaded them to contract offerings by Paramount Group, and landed them Honorable Mention awards for VH-1’s Song-writing contests. MaDDoX has also been offered a international promotional contract with Undiscovered Artisits! which will have their music played on the FM radio and SBN Satellite radio all throughout Europe, and land them a spot on a future European tour. Now, with a recorded demo, 50 amazing unrecorded songs, and a group now known as MADDOX, they are ready to take the music industry by storm.
