Bio
Arthur Rigby the band was born in March of 2007 on the night of a lunar eclipse. We first played as a side project from our other band where we had two other members but the response we received as Arthur Rigby was overwhelming. The crowd loved the five songs that we played that first gig and since then Arthur Rigby and the Baskervylles has gone from strength to strength.
The name of the band has a story as you may guess; Arthur Rigby is the name of Benjamin's grandfather and the band is in a sense, a dedication not only to him but to all friends and family that mean a lot to us both. All of the songs are written and performed with the people that mean the most to us in our thoughts.
Love, Life and Beauty are the three main themes that can be seen throughout the music, that is influenced by a mutual love of bands such as The Divine Comedy, Duke Special, Radiohead and even Led Zep!
The band has been busy playing frequently around Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.
