Articles of War is a Folk/Indie/Alternative duo based in Toronto, ON. The duo is composed of Hayley Henrikson {Saskatchewan} and Vicky May {Ontario}.
They continue the long tradition of folk duos, with music focused on vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars. However, they cross many genres to define their sound, with influences from folk to country to rock and roll.
They met in the fall of 2015 studying audio engineering at OIART in London, ON and have since been collaborating, writing and singing their stories. Thus far they have written over 20 songs and have recorded an albums worth of material to be released in 2017.
​Articles of War is about songwriting. It is about connecting and relating with people to the sound of two voices, a guitar, and a story.
