Artifex Pereo is a six-piece experimental rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. After forming in July of 2008, the band spent the next 12 months in the basement of guitarist Jordan Haynes, self-producing and self-recording their 8 track debut EP, "Am I Invisible."
Since the release of "Invisible" in July of 2009, Artifex Pereo have toured relentlessly, selling over 1,000 copies of the debut EP. Three hometown shows have since been played, each one selling out to maximum capacity.
When asked about the future of the band, guitarist Jamie Davis says, "We just want to play the music that we love as long as we can, for whomever we can, and keep food in our stomachs along the way."
With no signs of stopping or slowing down, Artifex Pereo will continue writing and supporting "Invisible" on tour, all over the country.
