Williams and Wayne hail from the Bluegrass State where they recorded two albums each, Williams as a solo artist and Wayne fronting the post-rock band Nerves Junior.
A singer her whole life, Williams began songwriting with folk and singer-songwriter influences in 2005 when she taught herself how to play an acoustic guitar and record on a 16-track. After recording her first album with These United States rockeletes in 2009, she hit the road feverishly traveling to 49 states with various other singer-songwriters. Determined to shimmy out of the folk scene, she wrote and recorded a full-length indie pop-rock album in 2011 with producer Kevin Ratterman where she met Wayne who recorded his album with band Nerves Junior a month earlier.
Wayne grew up with his musical prodigy brother and naturally fell into playing rock music. With his high school best friend and his brother, they formed the band Nerves Junior. They were signed by Louisville, KY label sonaBLAST! and released their blogtastic hit album. Loved by the underground indie folks, the band hit dilemma after dilemma and went separate ways. A musician for life, Wayne joined forces with Williams and jetted off to the middle of the Pacific.
Williams and Wayne currently reside in the Aloha State where they are working on their first album together: a dreamy, art-pop bedroom record.
