"LA Band Rocks Hard"

We recently received straight from Los Angeles California a cd named "Lucid" from a real talented Metal band called Art of Chaos, damn it this boys dont play, they really mean business by playing real heavy, diverse & very touching, beautiful plus rude Alternative Metal, what a band, all their songs are very catchy, its a nice cd that you can hear from start to finish & never get tired of it,it will blow you away & leave you goosebumps from the first listen I asure you that. This boys are constantly playing lots of shows in California & across the U.S.,pretty much non stop & that is admirable,I dont argue with that. They are young dedicated, fueled with lots of ebergy, its a shame they are not signed yet, record labels cant see what they are missing here, probably their next big seller thats for sure, but they should really hook up with a label with a history like Warner Brothers & the like, they have the potential to go all the way to the top & make other bands jelous & look like nothing, next time you hear from the Art of Chaos boys you'll be pretty amazed knowing about of what they have acomplished.Fans of Tool,Incubus,Staind,Coal Chamber & HIM will become adicts.

"Concert Review: Projekt Revolution - Dallas"

Ah, summer, how well you treat us entertainment junkies. This is the time of year when people across the nation make lengthy treks to the hundreds of shows and festivals being presented by the music industry. School is over and the madness of Warped Tour, Lollapalooza and other grand showcases bring out everyone from casual listeners to hardcore fanatics to rock out and get sunburned.

Undaunted by the oppressive heat, long lines and high ticket prices, alternative music fans have made it a point to sell out Linkin Park's "Projekt Revolution Tour," a nation-spanning festival that brings the band together with other popular young groups like Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance as well as shock rock veterans like Mindless Self-Indulgence. The tour itself lasts close to twelve hours at each stop, from California to Maryland, and is filled with all sorts of exclusive booths and merchandise for those interested in taking home some memories.

Since the event was quite long and the heat conditions were pretty extreme, we decided to only cover the first six hours of the festival. We weren't disappointed though, as the lesser-known bands still brought the house down at every opportunity.

Kicking off the event on the smaller of two stages was Art of Chaos, whose website professes the group "a transformation of nu-metal design". This hard-hitting five piece sure knows how to get a crowd pumped up. Lead singer Brian, whose last names is hidden somewhere in the dark crevices of The Internets, brings a strange vocal styling to mix. It's was a bit too whiny for my tastes, but the crowd seemed to get into it. .

"Demo Critique"

Singer Brian Torres brings a compellingly androgynous banshee quality to this hard rock band. Torres’ unique vocal tone and the tight and punchy musicianship make it all sound pretty good. Each tune allows Torres to express what his voice so perfectly embodies – angsty alienation, a yearning for a better world. Here’s a young band that needs just a little more incubation time to hatch something exciting. - Music Connection Magazine

"Upstart Coalition of Trojan Talent"

Torres’ alternative, metal-influenced band Art of Chaos will take the stage after a hiatus because of his knee surgery and general member disconnect. Now the band has regrouped, booking a touring schedule and hoping for the release of their first EP by the end of the month. So for Torres, this will be a jump start of two personal artistic endeavors, reigniting his own band as well as initializing his musical vision. Torres said he desires to plant the seed of something bigger to form a lasting “community through artistry”. - Daily Trojan

"Music Influencing Teens, In the Spotlight Art of Chaos"

Art of Chaos is a rock quartet out of Los Angeles. They are known to be “incomparable” to any other bands due to their significantly unique mixture of intense thoughtful lyrics and hardcore-metal accompaniment. Their sound is like none other I’ve heard. They aren’t afraid to break the barrier between metal and hardcore and allow themselves to just produce great sounding music. Their lyrics seem some-what autobiographical and Brian Torres[lead vocals] confided that he “loves writing about things that occur in my own life that I know are universal..” that clearly explains why their songs “Maker Maker” seems to portray a specific landmark in their lives.
“Oblivion all around me and I can’t feel a thing
Taking my mind away so that I don’t feel the sting
My people are bleeding from my stabs to the heart
And my apathy is tearing my people apart”
Art of Chaos is breaking ground on new uncharted musical territory and their sound portrays their urge to influence their listener’s lives. In a recent interview, the members came off as kind hearted and realistic and, oh-what a shocker, human.

"Music Review"

“The band is talented musically with performances that are impermeable and full of energy. The high pitched youthful sounding vocalist commands attention. I really enjoyed his emotional style and presentation. He delivered the material courageously with a passion that is all too often absent from today’s performances. Art of Chaos’ unique style and songwriting ability are sure to grab the attention of the music industry upon promotion and representation.” - IMG Music Promotions Inc.

"Interlude Magazine Review"

Something so new and so exciting, it can't compare to anything. A performance and passion so intense and ground-breaking. I truly feel Art of Chaos not only has a sound that is most definitely their own, but also a style of stage presence that is so unlike any I've ever seen. They are bound for an amazing journey no one can resist. Finally a music that produces intense energy! - Caryl Rogers

"MTV2, Time Warner Experience Art of Chaos - Rock Band Wins "LA Battle Projekt' Contest"

MTV2 and Time Warner Cable could be giving Los Angeles rock band Art of Chaos a chance to make it big.

By winning “LA Battle Projekt,” a 135-band contest generated by MTV2’s “On the Rise” online music community, Art of Chaos will open up for Grammy-winning rockers Linkin Park at their Los Angeles tour stop for “Projekt Revolution.”

The final five bands left in the LA Battle Projekt competition duked it out Wednesday in front of celebrity judges for the chance to open up for Linkin Park. The sold-out show was taped for MTV2 and will air exclusively on Time Warner Cable’s Local On-Demand and Music On-Demand starting Aug. 23.

Judges at the concert included Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon of Linkin Park; professional skateboarder and star of MTV’s Rob & Big Rob Dyrdek; and Atlantic Records senior vice president of artists and repertoire Danny Wimmer.

The Los Angeles stop for the Projekt Revolution tour is July 28, and it will feature Art of Chaos. The concert will also include bands My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday. The concert will be held at Hyundai Pavillion in San Bernardino, Calif.

Bio

"Have you seen my soul? Can you bring it back to me?" Croons singer Brian Torres in the chorus of "Wake Me" from their latest release, "Crimson & Catharsis." Art of Chaos has certainly found their soul in developing a post-hard rock sound they have dubbed "melodic hard rock."

Driving instrumentation, combined with the soaring vocals and thoughtful lyrics of frontman Torres have inspired music lovers throughout the country to embrace the Chaos. Their live shows have become intimate sessions in which the most tranquil soundscape ramps up into a frenzied explosion, allowing fans to participate in a truly cathartic experience as they sing along.

With their latest release, Art of Chaos has managed to create a sound all their own; one that is untouched by the confines of genre and unrivaled by their peers."
