ART OF SHOCK – Art Geezar (vocals, guitar), Adrian Geezar (drums), Arno Nurmisto (bass) and Gianni Rosati (guitar) – have built their name up throughout the Los Angeles music scene through persistence and hard work. Having played clubs from the Roxy and the Viper Room in West Hollywood to Skinnie’s in North Hollywood and as far out as Orange County, the band is slowly getting in front of audiences and winning people over one at a time.

ART OF SHOCK – The Singles

Art of Shock the hidden gem in Hollywood, America — actually they are not that hidden but for Australian me this fabulous band is a new discovery — a Eureka experience like discovering gold! Art of Shock knows how to mix metal guitar riffs with hard rock drums and strong vocals.

A few weeks ago I wrote a review on their exhilarating show at The Viper Room, now here’s a brief breakdown on their album released in singles like in the 60s. This smart and refreshing move from Art and Adrian Geezar, Arno Nurmisto and Gianni Rosati follows advice from Producer Steve Kravacs who has put his personal touch and producing expertise on a long list of acts including Blink 182, MXPX and Less Than Jake. Steve is now working with Art Of Shock to bring another dimension to their songs.

The Hollywood boys have been releasing singles via their website http://www.shock-online.com distributing them FREE, and sharing the love of music for the people by the people. Every song they have released so far has individual energy but when you listen to them, one after the other the energy multiplies to an ecstatic, electric surge that is awesome!
All their songs are a mixture of heavy Hard Rock and Metal with meaningful intelligent lyrics surrounding a whole lot of heart — not surprising because music reflects the members of a band and these guys are the nicest people you could meet. They listen to those around not just sing, and that’s why their music sounds truthful and connecting.
