Bio
As A Gift is a Pop-Punk band from Long Island, New York. Their influences include New Found Glory, The Starting Line, Lifetime, Four Year Strong, Fireworks, and more.
They've all been in successful former projects such as The GetAway Drive, Holden Pan, and Something Epic.
Singer and Lyricist Desmond Zantua (former singer for Holden Pan) leads the band with his signature voice and unmatched stage presence. His lyrics are said to be extremely relatable and artistic. Ricky Araya (formerly in Holden Pan) and Brian Thomann (Something Epic) take the role of backing vocals and guitars. Their guitar parts aren't just everyday power-chords, they are more. Anthony Dobrini (formerly in The GetAway Drive) adds the low-end to the band with his bass parts, he also books many bands himself with his company Calling Out Productions. Drummer Bryan McElwain (Something Epic) is the backbone to the band, his extremely versatile drumming abilities and his signature fills keep the band moving.
As A Gift has been playing shows all around New York, and played a show in Connecticut.
