Asato

We’ll give you a quick insight on our lives. We’re Africans, from Congo, our parents struggled their way to Paris, and then we moved to America. We understand and speak four languages (English, French, Lingala, batetela). Asato means “three” in an African language called “tetela”; we decided to form a group of three young and gifted artists. We grew up in a household of four children and we were always taught that union was our major strength; we all could have come up the business solo, but as a group we’ll have a much greater impact. We all have different styles of music which makes it even more interesting. Our music is a mixture of life experiences, good spirited lyrics, knowledge, and God. We also want to keep our songs radio and club friendly, because being real, also means being able to connect with your audience to turn music into money, when you are speaking the truth, beats matter because it is what the consumer will hear first, We are completely dedicated to making hits, all we want is crossover hits and no album fillers, without compromising ourselves or changing our message. We write and produce all our material, give us a hot beat we’ll turn it into a hit song, also we know good music is not enough nowadays, that’s why we thank god for the beauty of each one of us, because in this business everything counts.
