Lyrics

Designated Driver

Written By: Marc Holyoak

Give me the keys to your car so i can drive you home,
Put down the bottle in your hand
You drink it down, drink it down so you don't feel so alone,
Don't you know I'm just watching out for you?

By yourself in the bar without any other place to go,
and no specific things to do
Empty wallet, empty bottle, empty head so now it's time to go,
don't you know I'm just watching out for you?

Give me the keys to your car so i can drive you home,
Put down the bottle in your hand
You drink it down, drink it down so you don't feel so alone,
Don't you know I'm just watching out for you?

On the way out the door I can hear the music from the band,
they play their melodies for you
You might hear the words but you'll never really understand,
Dont you know I'm just watching out for you?

It's such a difficult thing to do.
It's such a difficult thing.

Give me the keys to your car so i can drive you home,
Put down the bottle in your hand
You drink it down, drink it down so you don't feel so alone,
Don't you know I'm just watching out for you?

Photo Shoot

Could I take your picture
With a polaroid, baby?
Capture all your beauty onto film
make believe you're a fashion model, baby
pout your lips as if your looks could kill

to make it in this crazy business, baby
you gotta make a sacrifice or two
you're gonna have to take your clothes off, baby
it's something that you're gonna have to do

watch it fall apart, a chain reaction baby
set off by the stupid things you've done
sell your soul to the devil for a dollar baby
it helps you to be seen by everyone

see your picture in the supermarket tabloids, baby
is this what you wanted all along?
cigarettes and paparazzi, baby
and now you wonder where it all went wrong

are you gonna let me,
are you gonna let me,
are you gonna let me let you down?
