As Fourty Sleeps

As Fourty Sleeps

BandRockFolk

A refreshing new folk-rock that is true to its gritty acoustic roots with some modern indie rock tweaks, centered around a carefully crafted batch of original songs.

Biography

As Fourty Sleeps started as an unplugged Simon and Garfunkel-type duo focused on dual acoustics and vocal harmonies, playing bar and coffee house shows in Seattle, WA. As the songwriting matured and audience grew, bass, drums, and electric instruments were later added to increase the energy of live shows. The late sixties folk-rock sound is still very prevalent in AFS' performances, but the top-notch skill of its current dream team of musicians gives them a very modern, club-friendly sound.
