Hip-Hop music that paints vivid & compelling images through rhyme. The name Ash
DaBlunt was chosen as a way to pay homage to his Native American Cherokee tribe
roots because it reflects the Native American naming culture of having a name that
not only has a meaning but can also be a statement.
Following his 2016 release of “Way She Do It” Ash took a break from writing
music and went back to producing for artists under the name ChuckT while he
prepared for the release of his album. During that time he produced “We Still Swim”
by Messiah Ramkissoon which was featured on the Source Magazine’s website. In
November 2017, Ash released his debut album “Focus on The Real” which gained
airplay on podcasts and radio stations across the globe such as Scotland (Freedom
Talk Radio), Finland (@RQL_webradio(Instagram)), Pretoria, South Africa
(rawjamz.mobi/), Washington D.C. (Excitement Radio), as well as different college
radio stations around the United States.
The following years he released music under the name ChuckT & Ash
DaBlunt which included the albums “Bay Area Underground,” “Electronic Maestro”
“Sleep Music Sounds” & many other singles that he collaborated with other artists
for. Now that the shelter in place has ended in America and things are slowly getting
back to normal Ash DaBlunt is now back to releasing music regularly. On April 20,
2022 he released the single “Paper Planes” which features Minnesota artist
Northstar Chase and has production by Ash but under his producer name ChuckT.
The single is about marijuana and its health benefits specifically when dealing with
stress.
