Ash Dilorenzo

Ash Dilorenzo, has a passion and talent for playing the Blues, seen only in a few Victorian musicians. An accomplished songwriter, performer and recording artist, Ash is a clever lyricist with a flair for story-telling. His original music is as engaging as it is entertaining.
A veteran of festivals and events, such as the Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn, Mordialloc By the Bay Fine Food and Wine Festival, St Andrews Blues Festival and the Kingston Food and Wine Festival, Ash is an accomplished crowd-pleaser with a diverse set list.
Ash was runner up, two years in a row, in the MBAS Blues Performer of the Year, and his album, ‘Blue Harvest’ by his band ‘Lyman Debut’ won Best Self Produced Album and Best Debut Album at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s Vic/Tas awards
The self-taught singer and musician plays guitar, harmonica, drums and keys, and was the lead of the successful Blues band, The Lyman Debut, Ash has since gone out as a solo act.
Ash’s diverse style is a mixture of Delta, Folk and Southern Blues. His influences include, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Freddie King, Howlin’ Wolf. Charlie Parr John Hiatt and Seasick Steve.
Ash is currently working on a new solo album and is playing gigs and festivals in Melbourne and across Australia.
As a side project, Ash, works on instrumentals in various styles in his home studio, geared towards commercial use. some examples of this can be found in the samples on this EPK
