Bio

After following suit of his childhood rap hero's, AshFlash has instrumentally forged his own style through real-life experience and is slowly becoming a fresh new face in the alt-rap genre. "The Orig", as he likes to call himself, single-handedly wrote, produced & released his debut album, The Dusk Til Dawn EP, in 2008, which was released as a LoFi digital album through his label, Broken Tongue Entertainment. Meanwhile, AshFlash has performed his solo act throughout Alberta and is already making his way through Ontario.

AshFlash has been regarded as an authentic & original lyricist bringing his emotional maturity, driving lyrics and engaging personality into every song he creates. As a City of Calgary event planner once wrote of him, "AshFlash's unique musical talent, professionalism and profound lyrics... make him a much needed role model in today's society."

Rapping for about 10 years, making beats for around four years and writing forever, AshFlash comes to you as live and as real as it ever gets. Honesty, respect and just minding your own GD business are the values his lives by, and it surely shows in his rhymes. Even though he's thoughtful and gets real quiet, real quick, AshFlash isn't afraid to tell it like it is... Even if it hurts.
