Bio
Brothers Sam (Guitar, Lead Vocals) and Ray (Drums, Bass, Backup Vocals) Ashford have been making music their entire lives. They formed an official band in the summer of 2009 when they wrote their first album. In the course of the last 5 years, they have written and recorded over 60 songs.
Their influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty and Heartbreakers, The Beatles and Bob Dylan to Nirvana, The Strokes, Alt J, The National, Twenty One Pilots, Daft Punk, Chvrches and many more. They blend sounds from as many different ideas as they can to create a unique experience.
They have been performing live in the OKC area since 2009 in venues such as The Blue Note, Nonna's Purple Bar, Jazmoz, The Conservatory, Paseo Underground, The Cox Convention Center, The Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, Edmond Jazz and Blues Festival, Edmond Arts Festival, Gentlemen of the Road Festival, JJ's Saloon, ACM@UCO Performance Lab and many others including private events including a party for the Oklahoma City Thunder executives.
Currently they are working on a full length album which they plan to release exclusively online for free in the Spring of 2014.
