A 15 year old powerhouse! A cross between Rhianna and a young Whitney Houston. Ready to break hearts all over the world!

Biography

Ashley is one of the co-stars of the new sitcom "True Jackson" on Nickelodeon along with KeKe Palmer and Greg Proops that was just picked up for 20 episodes!

Many of us dream about being onstage; from the early age of 3 years old, Ashley Argota has been pursuing that dream. Ashley began singing at the age of 2 and if you ask her mom, Aurora, she hasn’t stopped since! Ashley knew exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to make music, be on TV, and in the movies! Lucky for her, she has an amazing family who have been helping to make her “DREAMS COME TRUE!”

Ashley began to go to auditions & couldn’t believe how many other kids were up for the same jobs she was! It was a real eye opener! The first job she booked was a commercial for “THE JUNGLE BOOK 2”. Years later, she’d find herself starring in Disney’s hit musical “THE LION KING” as Young Nala! Ashley’s mom packed up and took their little girl on the road! It was one of the most amazing experiences she’s ever had! She and her family always work together to help her balance busy days of auditions, shoots, recording sessions and her schoolwork. It’s also very important for Ashley to “give back”, so she always finds time to help out in her community!

When she got back from “The Lion King”, she landed several roles in the popular “American Girl Revue” at the Grove in L.A. (It’s a show based on everyone’s favorite AMERICAN GIRLdolls!) Ashley loved this because not only did she get to do a lot of fun shows, she also got to perform at Children’s Hospitals and other places that let her get out and sing for kids!

At the young age of 15, Ashley is enjoying an amazing career in the business. National tours, commercials, movies, and television appearances….she’s loving it all! Then, one day, her dreams of singing on stage as ASHLEY ARGOTA began coming true!

Ashley started preparing for her path as a recording artist a few years ago by being the youngest performer ever to win 5 times in a row at “Amateur Night at the Apollo”. She went on to be a “Star of Tomorrow” at “Showtime at the Apollo.” Ashley then went on to perform at such venues as Universal Citywalk, The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and Dodger Stadium! Every time she hits that stage, there’s something magic that happens…for both her & her fans!

Continuing to follow her dreams, Ashley recently completed her debut CD titled “Ashley,” with her Los Angeles based production company, MOHO PRODUCTIONS!

Diva

DIVA
(Craymo, Brandon Jarrett, Thommie Retter, Darryl Retter )

Diva, diva, diva baby, diva, diva, diva baby, diva, diva baby and she’s here to stay

She can dance, she can dance and sing, shake and groove, she’ll just do her thing
Turn around jump and touch the ground, listen up, you’re gonna lose that frown
Let’s get movin’ we’ve got some work to do, DJ keep that beat a bumpin’
Look around now it’s like a party for you, get your body up and jumpin’

(chorus)
Diva’s in the news got the moves and the grooves
She’s gonna rock the dance floor out, diva baby
You need to catch her eye on the fly you know why
Don’t be left in the lost and found, diva baby

Join the fun, movin’ side to side, feel the beat, loosen up your pride
Take a chance, there’s no way to lose, don’t be shy, ‘cause you’ve got the moves
Think about it where would you rather be, she’s a diva and she knows it
Gotta shout it settin’ your spirit free, all you need to do is show it

Diva’s in the news got the moves and the grooves
She’s gonna rock the dance floor out, diva baby
You need to catch her eye on the fly you know why
Don’t be left in the lost and found, diva baby

The time is right, don’t let it pass you by, do your dance, try not to miss your cue
It’s your turn, step it up right now, do your thing, no need to show you how
Trust yourself you can do anything, you’re good enough and you know it
Don’t think she needs a diamond ring, don’t think that she needs a poet

Diva’s in the news got the moves and the grooves
She’s gonna rock the dance floor out, diva baby
You need to catch her eye on the fly you know why
Don’t be left in the lost and found, diva baby
Diva, diva baby, yeah, whoa
Diva, yeah, oh yeah

Let’s get movin’ we’ve got some work to do, DJ keep that beat a bumpin’
Look around now it’s like a party for you, get your body up and jumpin’

(chorus out)

Dreams Come True

Written By: Brandon Jarrett/Thommie Retter

Dreams Come True
(Brandon Jarrett/Thommie Retter)

Once upon a time is how the fairy tales go
And rainbows reach out to a pot of gold
The world is a wonder, with lots of surprise
Believe it can happen, then you’ll realize that

Dreams come true, oh yes they do, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true everyday

My dreams are reflections of the best part of me
I can see who I am and where I will be
When all of the dreams, I worked so hard to find
Will really and truly, truly become mine but

Dreams come true, oh yes they do, when you believe in the magic in you
I’m telling you, Dreams come true, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true everyday

Star light star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have this wish I dream tonight

Dreams come true, oh yes they do, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true everyday
Dreams come true, oh yes they do, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true, when you believe in the magic in you
Dreams come true everyday
