Bio
The band pulls from a variety of influences though hard to say they sound like one. From heavy guitars of The Black Crowes to driving acoustic southern ring of Bob Seger, the band draws from many genres. All the members having their favorites. The sound is rootsy, heavy at times, but always getting back to the essence of music.
All of the bands members grew up in the North Carolina region, some of them playing together for a long period of time, and some bringing new sound to the table. Yet, all five doing what moves them most. The band formally coming together at NC State University, they all began to find a common acquaintance in the southern roots sound. Pulling from that inspiration and their regional experiences, the band pursued a new, full sound of roots rock. The goal was never to imitate, but to form something new and pure. Making music is much more than a product or even a feeling. The band reaches into the depths of what surrounds them here and now and hopes to produce something that not only moves the soul, but exposes the freedom that inspires.
