Born Ashton Morris in Jackson, TN, Ash Motown is a self-proclaimed renaissance man in the hip-hop world. Inspired by Motown music and hip-hop artists Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, 8Ball & MJG, LL Cool J, and Mos Def, Ash Motown discovered a sound that is soulful, politically charged while having mainstream capability. Now located in Albuquerque, NM Ash Motown is taking his chance and running with it.
