A Shotgun Love Affair

The band A Shotgun Love Affair was formed in the preceedings of their formal band "Burning Glory" which was formed in December of 2001. Four of the five members were childhood friends all from the same area and school growing up. With just 3 months of writing, composing and fishing for their chemistry level they were already playing shows all over the surrounding areas. After a long stretch of shows, live radio acoustic set sit ins, and a following to grow more and more after each show the band hit a stint of disagreements and was forced to end the band. After a year lay off, a move to Huntington WV and many auditions to find the right replacements, A Shotgun Love Affair was born late in the year of 2003. With a new replacement at drums (derek) the band began writing and composing songs right where the last band had ended to become more evolved to their message and well more adjusted to their sound. Taking inspiration from such bands as "Taking Back Sunday" And "Thrice" they began their quest to reach their goal. To set this band apart would definately and most certainly be the strive to be unique and the camaraderie between the 5 musicians to send their message forcefully into the hearts of anyone who witnesses their shows, not only with vocals but with relentless breakdowns and lyrical hooks that search for their way to relate into every soul.
