"Impressive Album that showcases the duo at their strongest (Five Stars)*****"

Available from December 1st NASHVILLE HEART is the new album from Scottish country duo Ashton Lane. Opening track, Seventeen, immediately draws listeners in and the combination of alternating lead vocals from both Tim and Esther O'Connor works really well, particularly as this doesn't happen in the majority of the rest of the album. The duo's harmonies are really strong and the pacey track makes you want to tap your food along, definitely a strong choice to open the album.
One Night in California is one of the most impressive tracks on the album, lead vocalist Esther delivers a heartfelt vocal and the overall sound of the track, particularly the chorus, is really strong. The production is simple enough to keep the focus on the vocals and the story behind the lyrics is also interesting enough to draw listeners in and make it a track that is sure to be enjoyed many times.
Whilst, as listeners, we hear lead vocals from both Tim and Esther in the opening track, this format makes a welcome return in When We Were Young. Tim's vocal adds a grittiness to the track, having more power than Esther's does. The fact that this track appears just after the halfway point of the album means that it immediately intrigues listeners in that they are used to hearing the lead vocals from just Esther. Hopefully more of this alternating lead vocal will happen in the future. Esther undoubtedly has a strong vocal, however Tim adds another dynamic.
This is certainly a very strong album from Ashton Lane who prove they are a force to be reckoned with in the UK county scene. - Maverick Magazine

"Ashton Lane Nashville Heart"

Ashton Lane have recently performed at the C2C (Country 2 Country) festival, which I had the pleasure of seeing. Nashville Heart is the latest album from the duo and all I can say is wow, from the first song, Seventeen, right through to the last track, the brilliant single, One Kiss Later, this is an album of the very highest quality in writing, musicianship and production.... They don't come much better than this one. To say this is an excellent album from Ashton Lane is an understatement, it is one of the best things I have heard in a long time and it stands up in every department to the big budget productions that drop n the desk each week. I know it is often said but I really believe these two really do have what it takes to get to the very top, and guess what? They are British! - Up Country Magazine

"Ashton Lane – One Kiss Later"

Ashton Lane release ‘One Kiss Later’ ahead of 2016’s C2C: Country to Country, where the band will play the Pop Up Stage.

The song drives along with all the thrill and joy of newly discovered love. Esther O’Conner has a beautiful voice that adds emotion to any song and she is in storming form on this country-pop gem. You would need a heart of stone not to be grinning dopily, tapping your toe along with or joining in the incredibly singable chorus. If you’re thinking, “Country? Pah!” This is not your Appalachian bluegrass, banjo plinking, dungarees and pigshit style of Country. Think Nashville, think clean, well produced, well written mainstream popular music in a modern country-style with a retro West Coast aftertaste. - Music Scramble
