I was born in Freeport, Bahamas as Ashton Keith Knowles. I always loved music, but just saw it as love. When I think back to when I was little, I always made up words for songs that I didnt know, but they somehow always came close to the actual words. I was 19 years of age when I injured my back and stopped playing sports, and with all the free time I came to realize my gift in songwriting. This is one of the first things in my life that comes so naturally and for the first time, I know exactly what I want to do. I am now 21 years old and for such a short lived dream, I sometimes feel like I wanted to be a songwriter all my life. I guess it was always inside, but i just never took the time to look. But everything in life happens for a reason, and I was put on this earth to share my lyrics through music. And I can give the world something else to listen too and express feelings for them that they cant put into words. God gave me this gift and I hope that one day I can share it. I love it, and it's as simple as that.
