Bio

A-SickA who was given by his parents the birth name of Anthony Howard, hails from an up and coming city of about sixteen thousand residents named Beacon, in the state of New York. Beacon, which is referred to by the local Hip Hop community as TCNY or "Tree City New York" is a community that is heavily influenced by the culture of Hip Hop and it roots. It's location in Dutchess County (an hour dr...ive to the Bronx bureau of New York, NY) in what is considered to be downstate/upstate New York (Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown areas) placed this young up and coming rapper within a very unique suburban (yet heavily influenced by urban culture) community.

Surrounded by the influence of growing up in New York (the founding state of Hip Hop), as well as growing up alongside an older brother (Devon Howard aka Noetic Ezymoney) who raps, it seemed fitting that by the age of ten A-SickA discovered his gifts as an artist and began his career as a rapper. Realizing then that he not only had the gift to spit out phenomenal lyrics, but that by default he was also; a part of the local up and coming Hip Hop legacy that his brother had established. It was then he understood he was destined to play a major role in it someday and most certainly wanted too.

Nine years later at the age of nineteen, with his stiff punch lines and slick metaphors A-SickA is at the forefront of what he hopes to be the revolution of Hip Hop, an indie label he and his dedicated team started called R.E.A.L. Entertainment (in association with The Corvack Park Entertainment Group) is looking to take Hip Hop to places it’s never been.

His flow and lyricism have matured over the years. As well as his knowledge of what it takes to really succeed in the business of building a Hip Hop brand and empire. Over the last nine years he’s stayed at developing his talents through his ongoing relationship with Blockfluid Entertainment, an indie label established in Beacon, NY.

In 2011 he looked to expand them even further, taking on and began working with his manager/business partner Kristopher E. Scott, (Founder & CEO of The Corvack Park Entertainment Group, LLC.) on numerous projects.

As A-SickA moves forward in 2011 and beyond, he is constantly driven by the idea of revolutionizing the Hip Hop community. He continues to be a dedicated student of Hip Hop and never forgets the influences that made him the talent that he is today. He recognizes such artist as Jay Z, Nas, Fabolous, Biggie, Tupac, and Slick Rick (to name a few of some of the greats). He understands they all are recognized as having spit/rapped some of Hip Hop’s greatest lyrics/music in Hip Hop’s short history.

Overall A-SickA is all about “anybody that makes good music.” He has become a laborer of the work in his own right…to date as he continues to build on his vision for GREATNESS. He is producing his own music and constantly working to develop his own unique image in an ever-changing and demanding market. Creating a catalog of beats and lyrical masterpieces, is what he feels will ultimately put him in the position of one of, or the greatest rapper(s) ever. He is confident as he moves his vision forward that he is destined for that GREATNESS and nothing can hold him back. His own worst critic, he aims to be the best.

Collectively A-SickA feels that what sets him apart from any other artist out there(trying to make the same attempt at becoming one of the greatest) is…he can combine Hip Hop with pop, rock, funk, dance, techno, and beyond ultimately looking to create some of the best Hip Hop in the world. A-SickA feels he’ll continue to create Hip Hop music that everyone who listens to ultimately finds something within the work that pleases their “Hip Hop Hunger.”
