Bio
The Beginning:
Between 2008-2010, Trevor Matthews and Dan Carret were members of the Mississauga-based rock band December Flood. In early 2011, the two founded Asleep in the Machine and were in search of a strong lead vocalist. Enter Nick Cerny, who Trevor met in high school and kept in touch with over the years. Trevor had seen Nick perform a few times and was impressed with his singing ability. As such, Nick was the first singer they contacted and the rest is history!
Recent News:
AitM is playing shows in the Greater Toronto Area and released their first two singles "Bones" and "Lonely Lives" on iTunes in March of 2012. As of April, the band's primary focus is to play bigger venues and increase their following with the hopes of one day becoming a true Canadian success story.
