Creating a new edge on the stagnant, generic sound currently circulating the Melbourne music scene are 5 piece Indie/rock/experimental band assemble.the.empire

Priding themselves on years of musical studies and an unforgettable and electrifying live performance, in less than a year, the band have made their way around some of Melbourne’s finest venues such as The Espy, The Arthouse and Bang! Nightclub just to name a few whilst tearing up the stage with some of the countries most promising upcoming bands.

With the success of their 2 track demo released late last year, assemble.the.empire have recently come back from sydney where they recorded their debut e.p at Electric Sun Studios with producer Dave Petrovic (Cog, Forgivan Rival, City Escape, House Vs Hurricane, Mission in Motion)
The result is a 5 track release that will be sure to impress both fans, newcomers and critics alike.

With plans to tour the East Coast and to play the summer festivals assemble.the.empire are definitely a band to watch, with a solid fan base getting bigger by the day, 2009 is set to be a big year!
