Biography

Asuwere was formed soon after a band called “The Circus” disbanded in late 2008. They were an up and coming Indie band from Marlboro, New Jersey that played with many popular acts (As Tall As Lions, Circa Survive, Valencia, Status Green, Across Five Aprils, A love like pi, The Years Gone By) and were featured in The Bamboozle Festival of 2005. Kevin Alcaraz continued to write music on his own as a solo acoustic act and played at local bars and cafes. A few months later, Daniel DeVincentis and Jon Pilande (formerly of The Circus) were enlisted to play drums and keyboard respectively. Jonathan Harris came to accompany them on bass guitar and the band was officially formed in August of 2009. Since then, they have performed two shows and are currently in the studio working on their four-disc compilation.

The album is called Post-Life Anatomy and it consists of four discs that each capture different styles and captivate the audience. The Albums are I. Body, II. Soul, III. Mind, and IV. Spirit. 1. Body is heavy hitting, pulse pounding, hard rock. 2. Soul is life changing, angelic melodies. 3. Mind is brain gazing, “trippy as f*ck” music. 4. Spirit is ambient hymns from within. This project is slated to be released in early 2010. Be prepared
