As You Were

"As You Were" is a compilation of different musical backgrounds and processes. All of its members have been playing music since their younger years and have worked their way through different projects, finally ending up together to create the sonic fortess known by the name "As You Were".

Hunter Smith, lead vocal & guitar, and Shannon Fetherman, drums & percussion, have played music together in several different projects (Tamerlane, Polk, etc...) since 1995. Both have shared the stage with many great acts such as Creed, Candlebox, Semisonic, Sister Hazel, and countless others. Fetherman started out as the guitarist for Tamerlane and moved on to play drums for the power trio "Polk" in 2002. Smith was the frontman for both of these projects, donning the guitar for the latter. Tom Tusler worked his way across the country when he left the artcore/metal band, Claymation Horror Show in 2007, for which he played bass. He moved to Central Florida where he met Smith and the two of them started writing and recording with Fetherman on drums. Tusler is an accomplished bassist, as well as guitarist, pianist, vocalist and sound engineer. The band decided that Tusler's guitar chops were a perfect fit for "As You Were" so Tom was slotted as the guitarist. As the writing and recording process forged on, the three needed a bass player. Smith, having played with Nothing Nobel bassist, Daniel Class in past projects, called upon his talent on the bass to round out the order.

With its members carrying high energy levels, tons of talent, and more creativity and style than you'd know what to do with, "As You Were" will get your your emotions peaking, your blood pumping, your eyes glaring, and your ears wanting more.
