Candace is a beautiful but vain girl, who promised the world to her boyfriend until he found out that all her words were fake and that she planned to marry another guy and leave town...
The music and the story are close to "Hey Joe" (Jimmy Hendrix). Another song with a smilar story and feeling is "Where The Wild Roses Grow" (Nick Cave & Kylie Minogue).
Shortly after I've finished the lyrics, I read the incomplete stage play "Woyzeck" by the German dramatist and writer of poetry and prose Georg Büchner. I found this amazing text's story and mood very close to those of the song and could identify the song's characters with the ones from the play.

In the spring of 2009 we recorded the song with Rene Ranev on the vocals. Since July 2009 it's played on several Bulgarian radio stations, the most popular of which is BG Radio (bgradio.net). End of August 2009 the song entered the Top 20 chart of BG Radio and stayed there for 7 weeks, reaching position 16 at the highest.

"Mañana Town"
The song was a Semi-Finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest 2009 in both categories "Dance/R&B/Hip-Hop/Urban" and "Open/Miscellaneous". With a score of 7, according to the jury it was "a borderline finalist and almost made it through to the finals", thus being in the top 23% of 6,000 song entries.
It was also an Award Nominee in category "Hip-Hop" of the 2009 ISSA Christian Songwriting Contest. In the 29th Australian Songwriting Contest 2009, the song was short-listed to the 2nd stage of judging in category "International".
