As many of you know, I’ve used this blog once before for some shameless self-promotion. I decided to do just some shameless promotion instead and talk about my friends’ band ‘A Taste for Two’.
My friend and fellow open-mic nighter Josh Long has recently started a band called A Taste for Two. They just released two songs that they recorded with Seth Henderson of Asteria. Their style reminds me a lot of Cinematic Sunrise, and is an energetic rock with some sweet piano lines. One of their songs ‘Eulogy’ has been sung by Josh at many open mic nights acoustically and it sounds soooo good with a full band! I’ve posted the links to listen to both of their songs at the bottom of the page, and also a link to their facebook page where you can become a fan. A Taste for Two is composed of Joshua Long and friends. The band hails from Griffith, IN but most of the act is currently attending school at Purdue University in West Lafayette. The music is heavily influenced by the likes of Senses Fail, Yellowcard, and Brand New. Currently, A Taste for Two is in the middle of recording their debut E.P. with Seth Henderson (Asteria, The Graduate) and hopes to have it released by May with a subsequent acoustic tour to follow.
