Bio
In Mid 2007, Alec, Andrew, Ed, and the drummer at the time, Eric McEntee, "Third Rail", a Grunge band was formed. The band played 3 shows together over a 7 month period, as well as many in studio performances. In late 2007, the bands first single "A Way Of Life" was recorded. In early 2008 the bands next single, "The Stalker" was recorded and proved to be a success, getting many plays on the bands myspace, as well as people asking for copies. By June 2008 the band had played a few shows with the setlist consisting of:
About A Girl (Nirvana)
Summertime Blues (Eddie Cochran)
The Wind Cries Mary (Jimi Hendrix)
A Way Of Life
Hey Joe (Jimi Hendrix)
The Ocean (Led Zeppelin)
The bands best known song "The Stalker" proved to be "un-performable" as the beat was too hard to tackle for McEntee.
During the next recording sessions, the limits of McEntee were realized, and the band decided to look for a new drummer.
In July 2008, Alec and Ed played a 2 1/2 hour improv show with musical colleages, Chris Primerano and Nate Rohr.
Starting in 2007, Nate Rohr, Chris Primerano, Ed Schnieder, and Alec Prodromou, as well as other musicians, had played shows together at the Winchester Community Music School
"The Show went horribly" recalls Alec. "We hadnt rehearsed and had no idea what the hell we were doing. after we took a break i looked at the setlist and noticed it was a very easy blues song. Roadrunner. I decided to play guitar on it with Chris, and try and jam. By the time we were done with the song, it had turned into a 20 minute medley of Roadrunner (Bo Diddley), Shakin' All Over (Johnny Kidd), Who Are You (The Who), Crossroads (Eric Clapton), and Young Man Blues (Mose Allison). I don't know what happened, but something just clicked and we played the rest of the set flawlessly."
It was decided. The bands final line up was together. Eric was kicked out, and Nate Rohr was his replacement. In addition to a new drummer, a secondary guitarist, Chris Primerano, was invited into the band.
before the bands next concert, the original half hour set had become a 3 hour set that had to be constantly edited for time. One of the new additions to the set was "Everything is Nothing" which had been halfway finished during the last recording session with McEntee.
"Everything Is Nothing" quickly became a live favorite, and as the shows went on throughout the fall, more originals were added.
RECENTLY:
More recently, a new single, "State Of Mind" written by Primerano, was tried out on stage and was very well recieved. The band is now in the process of re-recording all their originals and preparing to release their new EP.
