The beating heart of Atlantic Massey is Charlie Mullan & Garvan Cosgrove, natives of Derry now finding their home in the musical melting pot of Liverpool. With an open door philosophy and an ever changing lineup of some the finest players the city has to offer, the band have already headlined The Company Store (run by Noel Gallagher approved The Sixteen Tonnes), been featured on BBC Introducing, and were personally invited by cult heroes Shack to support them at the o2 Academy after hearing the sound of Atlantic Massey rehearsing flooding down the stairs. This enigmatic band are rooted in the traditions of Irish literature and music, representing both sides of the Atlantic and staying true to the ethos of Neil Young, the pathos of Dylan, the energy of The Pogues and the twisted charm of Tom Waits.
